If there is one thing that ties the roots of all dark skin races, it is our history of slavery. Slavery everywhere was a cruel and tormenting act that white people committed against Nubian people of African descent. In Brazil, African and Indian slaves went through many ordeals. White drunkards and criminals went to Brazil to rule over slaves and bought with them terrible diseases that would make the lifespan of an average slave about 20 years. Women slaves aborted their children so they wouldn’t have to grow up in such cruel systems. Africans and Indians alike share a commonality of slavery. This is a bind that will forever unite our history of suffering and pain.
